ATI has written a NeWSprintdriver using the SBus Centronics card to support all of ATI's laserprinter ranges, from eight to 50 pages per minute.ATI delivers high-speed image printing from workstations with printer-based facilities to process images (e.g., decompress, clip, rotate, andscale Group 3 and 4 images). PostScript files from NeWSprint can beoverlayed with text and graphics. The laser printer range offers up to 17different printer emulations including PCL4, HP-GL, AutoCAD ADI, andXerox UDK.
